We take a BIG summer trip, breaking in my new 21' Subaru Forester. Drove to Tennessee to see friends for the 4th of July, and from there up to Michigan. Had a great time, we love road trips! There were a few other camping trips this year, as usual.
In early August, my mom is diagnosed with terminal cancer. I spend the next three months fully dedicated to her care, chasing whatever method of comfort for her that I can find. We say our goodbyes on November 7th.
